I am studying for my children of the world project a girl called Elidona Pemaj. Elidona lives in Albania and she is 11 years old.
My research so far has been to find a child and where the child lives to do so I have looked on the internet and on one of the links on the Ashlawn Website.

Hello Mr Kelly,
I am doing my project on JonBenet Ramsey and was wondering whether they have actually found the reason she died as all the websites I have been on for my research says they have found suspects but are still searching for the killer.
I was wondering whether you knew any websites for more information.

They have never found her killer. It is unlikely they ever will now. So concentate your project on why children are exploited in beauty pagents and not about her murder. Mr. Kelly

The pshe ok website helped me a lot in choosing what I wanted to do for my project and when I looked at all of the topics I had to decide and choose what I should do so I chose poverty in india and I am doing it about a boy called shagor.
pshe ok is a really useful website and helps me a lot with my pshe homework!!

After reading personal stories on the website http://www.savethechildren.org.uk – I have decided to do my project on a girl called Teddy who is 14yrs old. She lives in a remote village in Uganda called Busaru. What interested me about her was her struggle to receive education which I take for granted. I plan to find out more about Uganda and the kind of life Teddy lives from day to day

I’m in Mrs Garratt’s class and the child I am researchingis called Merlyn Ivan. He is nine years old and he lives in the Dominican Republic. I’m doing really well with my project and I think the Children of the World S.I.L.K has helped me to get started. The only thing I’m finding tricky is that I can’t find specific info about him. Would it be OK if I did the some of the Q’s with info about children from the Dominican Republic and not just Merlyn?

Dear Mr Kelly, I am in your PSHE class and after last weeks lesson i have decided to do Nkosi ,Because i found it interesting and inspiring on How he wanted people to know about his illness and was able to be so upfront about the fact he had aids. In My project i will include emails i will have sent to Gaile, Nkosi’s mother so people can see her views not just mine. And plus i think it will be interesting to learn what it felt like being around Nkosi and how he coped.

For my children of the world project i am doing about the slums in Mumbai because i watched slumdog millionaire. I thought it was wrong because of the lifestyle they have it’s terrible!
The child i have chosen is called Rubina Ali, she played Latika as a child on slumdog millionaire and is a real slum.
It is very interesting to learn about her.
I have decided to make the children of the world project as a powerpoint and have nearly finished it.

My children of the world project is about a boy who lives in South Africa called Jabulani. I’ve 3/4 of the work now and will be finishing next weekend, leaving the remaining weekend for revision. Most of my research material came from the website.

i have made a movie about a boy who’s mother and father could have died from aids. he has aids and he gets medicine for free but he has to look after his brothers and sisters with a little help from his disabled grandmother. i am also doing child soldiers and a little bit about the other main topics. very nearly finished!!!

I think its better not to do one child because of protecting their identity. So children who are abused in general is ok.

I have nearly finished the project but i am stuck on what to write on the conclusion, what do you mean by this, what do I need to talk about in the conclusion? AIDS orphans means children who have AIDS. This is a disease that will kill them. They are unfortunate because their mothers have caught the disease and died. So these children are going to suffer. They will not have the drugs to save them. Mr. Kelly
